Xenical

Xenical (orlistat) is a drug which blocks the absorption of fat. It acts only in the digestive system, particularly in the stomach and in the intestines by blocking the lipase; thus preventing it from breaking down the fat. The fat being undigested, and too large to be absorbed, remains in the intestines where it will eventually be flushed out with the stool. By taking xenical with each meal, it can prevent the digestion of at least 30% of the dietary fat that will be consumed. In doing so, Xenical promotes weight loss from body fat and not from muscle mass. Aside from preventing the onset of obesity in the individual, the prescription wonder does not have any side effects. It is safe even for long-term use because it does not affect the nervous and respiratory system and there is no possibility of addiction. These amazing benefits of xenical (orlistat) have eventually made it as one of the most-sough after drugs worldwide. It enjoys tremendous acceptance not only from people suffering from obesity but also from those who have weigth related problems. In the Philippines, Xenical (orlistat) became one of the most popular diet pill medications among notable celebrities and politicians and people from the upper echelons of society.
